PUNT ZERO

Light installation at the Llum Barcelona Festival 2019

As part of the Master’s in Interior Design and Ephemeral Spaces at UPC, we took part in the artistic installation PuntZero at the Llum Barcelona 2019 festival.

Held for the second year in the Barcelona neighbourhood of Poblenou, it becomes a great experimental lab with Light as a creative medium, where renowned artists, designers, architects, and schools are invited.

Our proposal, called PuntZero, is a return to the origin, a frozen explosion of light waste that aims to make us reflect on our societal model — the excessive consumption that leads to a level of waste our planet can no longer sustain.

Let us reflect, and perhaps we need to return to PuntZero.
