RENOVATION OF AN ISOLATED MULTI-FAMILY BUILDING

This project involves the comprehensive renovation of a detached building built in 1975.
The 15cm-thick single-pane facades cause interior damage due to temperature changes and rusting of the metal structure.
An energy renovation of the facades is proposed by installing thermal insulation on the exterior. Interior comfort increases considerably, and the homes’ energy requirements decrease by 50%.
The railings, drip edges, and wall coverings were replaced, all equipped with drip edges; balconies and roofs were waterproofed, and the sanitary water system was replaced with a direct water supply from the utility company.
For all of this, funding was obtained from the Generalitat (Catalan Government) for 50% of the Material Execution Budget for the Works.
