Built area: 300m2
Green’s Bar Restaurant with more than 30 years of history in the neighborhood of Les Corts expands its surface considerably to serve the needs of this area of the city of Barcelona.
A very studied distribution makes the maximum use of the surface and that the circulations between the public user and the service staff do not overlap.
The guiding thread of the project is to generate a transition of spaces that lead you through the premises and that respond to all the service areas that the restaurateur offers. From the access area with its long bar, fresher, more agile, oriented to the cafeteria. An intermediate transition zone between the cafeteria area and the restaurant area. And finally the restaurant area, which can be divided into smaller rooms.
The materials used envelop you in a warm and modern atmosphere, but at the same time traditional, green tones and wood wall coverings are reminiscent of the old Green’ s. The continuous concrete floor framed with brass plates and mixed with “carpets” of hexagonal porcelain stoneware unify the spaces mentioned above.

The cafeteria area is dominated by a vertical garden and the beautiful service bar, tiled with a green hand tile. A wall tiled with a black volumetric tile separates us from the kitchen and leads us to the bathrooms.
In the transition zone a forest of lights dominates the space and more fabrics are used in both upholstery and curtains.
The restaurant, defined by large backlit pink Portugal marble panels, the use of more upholstered furniture, armchairs, benches with capitonné backing, lead us to a more leisurely atmosphere, to enjoy a lunch or dinner in peace and quiet. A small bar closes the tour as the last moment of the day.
All the lighting, very careful and studied, is adjustable to accompany the different moments of the day.
In the bathrooms with the use of two marble sinks, antique pieces, the mixture between the traditional and the modern becomes more evident.
